This is the first air purifier I have purchased so I dont have any experience with other air purifiers. I bought it mainly for odor removal. For this purpose, it works quickly and effectively. I found it to be very loud and I couldnt sleep with it on if I had to run it all the time. It looks very well made. The price is right compared to others Ive looked at.

We put it in the same room as the litter box. Although we change the cat litter frequently, there is still an odor sometimes. This takes it away and the cat doesnt mind it being there

How often I dont know your mileage

How often I dont know, your mileage will vary based on how many pets you have, how much wildfire smoke there is in your area, etc. But if compared to other units that may have larger units, I would expect to buy at least two filters per year that you will need to replace less often.
